Little did Mr. Hunt realize when he departed the building on Monday August 31st, his last day serving as the longest term director for the Governor’s School for Government and International Studies, that he would be treated to a fond farewell amidst a great Green Dragon sendoff of green ballons, noise makers, dragon hats and cheers from all. Faculty, staff, parents, and students gathered on the school’s front steps to express gratitude and good wishes. While Mr. Hunt tried to escape he was overheard saying "I've got to get to my car!". A special surprise awaited him when he discovered his car had been fully trimmed, in fitting style, with green “gone fishing” decorations. We will miss you Mr. Hunt!
