MLWGS Junior Is a Finalist for Richmond's Snow Queen

Vote Online until December 24, 2009!

Maggie Walker Junior Emlyn Crenshaw is a finalist for Richmond’s Snow Queen. The legend of the Snow Queen is a wintertime tradition carried on by the Children’s Museum of Richmond. Over the years, CMoR has based the Snow Queen selection on outstanding community service, scholastic excellence, and sustained experience/interest in working with children. The honor of Snow Queen includes making appearances at the Children’s Museum, the Jefferson Tree Lighting, and accompanying Legendary Santa during Richmond’s Christmas Parade. This year, the Snow Queen will also receive a generous college scholarship.

Maggie Walker’s own Emlyn Crenshaw (2011) is one of three finalists chosen from the many that applied for this year’s Snow Queen. Voting is now being held online to determine the winner. Go to the CMoR website through December 24th. Everyone can vote.

Please take a second to go to the site right now and vote for Emlyn. It would be a great honor to have a Maggie Walker student as Richmond’s Snow Queen!
