Summer Program Opportunities

The Medical Science Internship Program (MSIP) is a 5-week summer program sponsored by VCU. The purpose of this program is to expose high school students to the healthcare and the research component of medicine. Students receive hands on experience in a research project and receive the opportunity to build a connection with a mentor in research and healthcare. The Student Leaders Program is an 8-week paid summer internship sponsored by Bank of America. Students work with a local non-profit organization to learn how nonprofits, government, and business can partner to create positive impact in our communities. The Future Leaders Forum for Young Women is an opportunity for young women in grades 9-12 to participate in a day of presentations and interactive workshops that tap into their strengths as future leaders. The first five young women to sign up by Monday, January 11 will receive a registration packet. Registration packets are due by February 26.
