The Friends of Virginia's Governor's Schools, the advocacy organization that represents all 18 state-wide schools, has rescheduled its annual "Capitol Day" for Wednesday, March 3. (The original date, February 8, was snowed out.) At that time, students and parents from MLWGS and other governor's schools will visit the General Assembly and Senate and ask legislators to be kind to our schools during the budget-cutting sessions.

We will be visiting every legislator that represents MLWGS, but we we need more. Please call, email or visit your representatives, and tell them how important governor's schools are to you! (A VOTER). This is a difficult and dangerous time for all of education, and particularly for us. We need everyone's participation and support.
