The Model United Nations Club is hosting the 13th Governor School’s Model United Nations Conference (GSMUN) on Friday, March 26th and Saturday, March 27th. This year, we are expecting about 400 middle school and high school students to participate in our conference. Because GSMUN is mostly a student-coordinated event, we always need more volunteers to do a variety of tasks, such as help set up or clean up meals for the delegates.
We are gathering non-perishable food donations throughout the week of the conference. Right now, we still need the following items: big bags of chips, cookies, pretzels, water bottles, and cans of soda. So next time you are at the grocery store, just simply pick up an extra bag of chips or some soda and ask your daughter or son to bring it to Mr. Smith’s room (242). Please remember: you don’t have to be a parent of a club member to help! Again, we will be glad to receive these donations up till the day of the conference on Friday, March 26th.
