We the People Team Advances to National Constitutional Competition

For the 13th consecutive year, the Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School has won the Virginia We the People High School State Finals, which took place in Richmond on March 12.

The team will represent Virginia in the National Finals in Washington, DC in April.

We the People team members study a broad range of topics related to American government and constitutionalism and prepare for a simulated congressional hearing, during which judges ask questions and score units based on knowledge and articulation.
