GSMUN XIII, held on March 26–27, was an exciting and triumphant event that encouraged diplomacy and leadership. Over 330 delegates from all over central Virginia enjoyed lively debate in 12 committees, and each was privileged to hear the keynote speech of Mitchell B. Reiss, leading foreign policy expert and future president of Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland.
Thanks to hours of hard work, the student-run and organized conference ran smoothly. The staff was proud to have raised around $2,000 for the charity Action Against Hunger. Congratulations to all who participated in the conference! It was a rousing success.
