Friendly Reminders for Class of 2010 and Parents

Naviance Survey: It is very important that all seniors complete the survey ASAP. Getting this information in will allow us to extract important information for the graduation program that needs to be printed well in advance of June 18th. Naviance website:
Senior Lock-In: Students are reminded to submit their permission forms and $40 to Ms. Parker no later than May 19. The lock-in will take place at the Midlothian Athletic Club on Saturday, May 29th from 8:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. If you are interested in being a chaperone for half or all of the evening, please email We need 1 parent for every 10 students (currently I have 2 parents, and need 3-4 more).
Seniors Auditions:  Senior Audtions for Musical Performances at Senior Recognition Night and at Commencement Exercises will take place on Wednesday & Thursday, May 19 & 20, beginning at 3:30 in the Auditorium.  Any student or group of students interested in auditioning must sign up for a time slot on the list outside the Forum by May 17th. Final decisions will be made by a committee of faculty members and the class officers.
Soloists and groups are welcome!
Vocal and instrumental performances are welcome!
Classical & contemporary performances are welcome!

Senior Group Photo: Tuesday, May 18th, 11:50 a.m. A group photograph will be taken of all seniors in their caps and gowns standing proudly on the front steps of Maggie Walker. This panorama style photograph measures approximately 10”x30”. Order forms have been placed in the Senior Commons, in Ms. Parker’s office, and in Room 107 for any student interested in purchasing a copy of the photo. (To see last year’s class photo, go to Room 107.) The cost is $15.00. Students need to remember to bring their caps and gowns that day OR they can leave them with Mrs. Reed or Ms. Parker until the day of the photo.
Graduation Announcements Still Available! Mrs. Reed has additional graduation announcements in Room 107. The price is $1.35 per announcement (this includes tax). Checks must be made payable to Herff-Jones.
