Fall Festival Promises Fun For All!

Bring your family to school for one of the most exciting Maggie Walker events of the year: the Fourteenth MLWGS FALL FESTIVAL; A GLOBAL CELEBRATION sponsored by our very own PTSA. You are cordially invited for delectable food and treats with an international flair, spectacular music, entertainment, and lots of fun games and crafts while you mingle with old friends and make new ones! Best of all, you’ll be supporting over 60 clubs and organizations offered at the Governor’s School!
So grab your friends, grab your money, and join the party!
Attention students donating equipment for Fall Festival
The following is the procedure we use when borrowing items from parents: 
  1. Please clearly label your items with your name and phone number. 
  2. Sometime before Thursday October 7 (but not before October 4) please deliver your items to the Bluestone lobby. This is the entrance where the buses drop off in the morning, where Mr. Tharp, Ms. Williams, and Ms. Bowman have their offices. Just let Mr. Tharp or Ms. Williams know you are dropping off items for the Fall Festival and they will guide you on the exact placement within the Bluestone Lobby.
  3. After the festival ends, all borrowed items are returned to the Bluestone lobby for owner pickup unless other arrangements are made with the Logistics Chair.
  4. If you are unable to pick the items up at the end of the festival, just come by the school at your convenience within a couple of school days following the festival.
  5. If you loaned a generator or any large equipment, these procedures do NOT apply, the Logistics Chair will make specific arrangements to suit your needs.
