Athletic Pavilion Dream Comes True

Under the leadership of the Governor's School Foundation, with strong support from Athletic Boosters, the PTSA, and the Mary Morton Parsons Foundation, we have raised $350,000 to cover the estimated total cost of the Athletic Pavilion. To be built on the athletic field this summer, the Pavilion will provide restrooms, a first aid station, concession stand, and ticket sales facilities.

This decade-long dream became a reality thanks to the hard work of a team of volunteers, generous parents past and present, and the cooperation of the Foundation, School Administration, Regional School Board, PTSA, and Athletic Boosters. We thank everyone who helped us achieve this milestone, including Bill Yates, the Athletic Pavilion Fundraising Chair.
