Kids Helping Kids in the Fight Against Childhood Cancer

Calling all Maggie Walker students, parents and friends! Please join us to walk, run or volunteer for our Annual ASK Fun Walk & 5K on Saturday, April 30 at Short Pump Mall. Help us to our team goal of $2,000 to support the families struggling with cancer.  Earn community service hours!

The ASK Fun Walk & 5K is a celebration of the strength and courage of children with cancer and their families here in central Virginia. Join us on Saturday, April 30 when over 1,500 Richmonders will walk and run to honor these brave children. After the race, stay for our family-friendly celebration featuring live music from The Jangling Reinharts, food and fun for all ages. ASK will recognize our top fundraising teams for their hard work and honor our young patients and survivors with a Kourageous Kids Victory Lap. There are few sights more touching than seeing the Kourageous Kids–childhood cancer survivors–take their very own victory lap in their special t-shirts!

Can't join us? No problem. You can still participate by registering through our "sleep-in" option or making a pledge to a walker or runner. Over the past five years, the ASK Fun Walk & 5k has raised over $370,000 to help make life better for children with cancer. Spaces are available for walkers, runners, volunteers or just make a pledge! Log onto www.askwalk.org and join the Maggie Walker Dragons team.
