Senior Baccalaureate Service- Volunteers Needed

Seniors, we look forward to seeing you and your families at a special culminating program, the Baccalaureate Service for the Class of 2011, which will take place on Thursday, June 16 at 6:30 pm at First Presbyterian Church, 4602 Cary Street Road.

This non-denominational service is coordinated by the PTSA to honor the senior class on the night prior to graduation. Featuring musical selections and remarks by speakers of different faith traditions– typically of a spiritual nature –the service allows you and your loved ones a time to reflect about the blessings of this important occasion.

Seniors, we ask you to arrive no later than 6:15 pm, with your caps and gowns, to prepare to process with other members of your class into the church and be seated together.

The program should conclude before 8:00 pm, allowing time to change and head over to the Dogwood Dell amphitheater to join the rest of the MLWGS family for the musical celebration featuring our fabulous Faculty Lounge Lizards.

Sophomores and juniors: we are looking for 3 to 4 volunteers to assist with logistics at the Baccalaureate (handing out programs, seating families, etc.) for this event. Community Service hours will be awarded. Please contact Joan Yates 353-3192 or yatesjoan@aol.com to volunteer.
