Fall Festival Takes Place This Friday!

Friday, September 30, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm 

Grab your friends, grab your money, and join the party!  Come out and support our fabulous student organizations at the 15th Annual MLWGS Fall Festival: A Global Celebration, our biggest fundraiser for student groups.  Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to enjoy live music and sample delicious foods from around the world.

Live Music Begins Early!
Come and hear MLWGS students perform LIVE and on stage!!  Starting at approximately 3:30 p.m. we will have a full evening of entertainment that only Maggie Walkers students can provide.  The MLWGS Orchestra, Jazz and Concert bands will perform.  There will be performances from Chorus, Drama Club and our own Improv troupe among many others.  To add to the excitement, the Faculty Lounge Lizards will be performing for a full 30 minutes this year!!!  Come and show your support for our incredible students and staff – an evening not to be missed! 



Fall Festival Volunteer Check-In

Fall Festival Parking
Parking for Fall Festival will be available at James River Bus Lines on N. Allen Avenue and in the school lots on Lombardy and Elizabeth Streets





Important Instructions:   Fall Festival Equipment Drop Off
If you have agreed to lend coolers, extension cords, etc. for use at Fall Festival, please drop off your items at school prior to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, using the following procedures:
1.     Please clearly label your items with your name and  phone number.
2.     Deliver your items to the Bluestone Lobby before 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29.  This is the entrance off of W. Leigh Street where the buses drop off in the morning.  Let Mr. Tharp or Ms. Williams in Room 100 know you that are dropping off items for the Fall Festival, and they will guide you to the exact placement within the Bluestone Lobby.
3.     Pick up your items from the Bluestone Lobby at the end of the festival.  Items will be returned to the Bluestone Lobby at 8:00 p.m. the night of the festival and will remain in the lobby for one week for you to retrieve at your convenience.
4.     If you are lending a generator, these procedures do NOT apply.  The Logistics Chair will make specific arrangements with you.
