"The Write Thing to Do Club" offers MLWGS students a unique opportunity to earn recognition for outstanding creative writing that reflects cultural awareness.
In its first writing contest, Voices Behind the Veil, students were asked to consider and illuminate the plight of women who have been subjugated in Afghan society. Contest winner, freshman, Emma Greene ('15), used metaphorical language and imagery to depict a compelling tone of frustration and despair. She received a certificate and a gift card to Barnes and Noble for her achievement. Congratulations, Emma!
