DRIVE SMART Virginia has just launched a project in conjunction with the Virginia Department of Health to reach out to Virginia’s young drivers about the dangers of distracted driving.
This project asks teens to pledge to drive distraction free. Parents and supporters are encouraged to help spread the word about this pledge. If teen drivers sign the pledge by August 30, they will be entered into a drawing to win a free iPad!
Interested students can pledge at the following link: http://drivesmartva.org/teen/distractionfree and for more information contact Kristin Smolenski, DRIVE SMART Virginia Special Projects Manager, 276-206-6963.
(Please note that this is a separate pledge from the original Distracted Driving Awareness Month pledge)
