prize from SPIE
Bandyopadhyay won an all-expense paid trip to Geneva, Switzerland to spend a week at the European Union for Nuclear Research (CERN) with 11 other students from across the globe. He also won the first prize of $2500 from SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics.
Marquez won the third prize of $1,000 from the Anti-Vivisection Society dedicated to biomedical research without harming animals.
