Lend a Hand at the Fall Festival!

Many hands make light work, as the saying goes. The annual MLWGS Fall Festival needs many hands to ensure that this year’s event runs as smoothly as the 15 that have come before. Volunteers are essential to the success of the festival, which enables student clubs and organizations to raise money that supports a full year’s worth of activities.

Volunteer coordinator JoAnne Kaperick (
mwgffvolunteers@aol.com) notes that volunteering at the festival provides a unique view into how a major event happens. “It’s great to see everyone working together on the festival day,” she says. “The energy level is high, people are cheerful – we’re all there for the benefit of the school and its students.”

While many volunteer positions have been filled, needs remain:
 - Set-up, 9:00am - noon
 - Set-up, noon - 3:00pm

 - Crowd control, 3:30 - 8:30pm (multiple shifts)
 - Take-down, 8:00pm - approximately 10:00pm
 - Money counting, 7:30pm - conclusion
