The 11th Annual Night of the Dragon auction will be held Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 at the Hilton Hotel and Spa at Short Pump. This annual event is the largest fundraiser of the year and collectively benefits the students at MLWGS through activities provided by all of the booster groups, the PTSA, and the Governor’s School Foundation.
Party and auction planners are looking for volunteers! Committee needs range from requiring a few hours, a few days, or a few weeks of time. There are also several opportunities for those who can only work from home. Those interested in being on this committee should come to the first Night of the Dragon auction meeting on Monday, Sept. 10 at 6:00pm in Room 107.

Dragon planners are also beginning to collect donations of auction items, and are searching for a huge variety of items to auction. A donation form was included in the Back to School packet or donors can go to the website www.nightofthedragon.com to print out a form and return it to the auction box in Valenta Williams' office off the Bluestone Lobby. The deadline for donations to be included in this year's event is Dec. 14, 2012.
