Annual Fund Campaign Seeks Contributions

The Governor’s School Foundation’s Annual Fund Campaign supports enhancements in three areas:  people, programs, and place. The goals are to maximize academic opportunities for every student, support faculty education, strengthen administrative infrastructure, improve facilities, and acquire innovative technology.
Hana Reed attended an Advanced Placement
Institute conference at the College of William
and Mary over the summer through a grant
from the Governor’s School Foundation.
So far this year, the Annual Fund Campaign has raised $133,040 for the school, which is 42% of its $270,000 goal.

Overall current parent participation is 27%, and here is the parent participation by class:

·      Senior parents: 37%
·      Junior parents: 34%
·      Sophomore parents: 32%
·      Freshmen parents: 8%
