Math Teacher to Blog From Antarctica

As part of her Einstein Fellowship with NSF’s Office of Polar Programs, MLWGS math teacher Lynn Foshee Reed is on a month-long trip to Antarctica and New Zealand. She recently arrived in Christchurch, NZ.
Reed plans to Skype with math students at school this week, and has created a blog so that students, teachers, friends, family, and interested others can read about her experiences learning about current scientific research occurring at McMurdo and South Pole Stations and international cooperation and opportunities in general.
