Mech Tech Dragons Compete at Siegel Center

The Mech Tech Dragons will be competing in the Virginia and Washington, DC FIRST Robotics Competition Regionals at the Siegel Center on Mar. 15-16. Admission is free.

After a demanding six-week build season, the Mech Tech Dragons are excited to unveil their 2013 robot, Nidhoggr (Malice Striker), a powerful dragon found in Norse Mythology. It chews on the roots of the ash tree Yggdrasill, the World Tree, which holds together the nine realms of Norse mythology. This year's robotic challenge involves launching frisbees and climbing a pyramid structure. The Mech Tech Dragons hope to advance to the FIRST International Championship in St. Louis in April.
