Winter Phonathon Sets New Bar for Success

The results for the 2013 Winter Annual Fund Campaign Phonathon have been tabulated, and it is officially the most successful winter phonathon in Governor's School history, with over $16,000 in gifts and pledges from 207 donors! The Foundation thanks all who participated.

Thanks also go out to volunteer parent callers: John Aaron, Diane Beirne (alumni parent), Lori Bekenstein, Beth Bortz, Dana Marie Buchanan, William Bunting, Charles Byles, Jerry Canaan, Thomas Grinnan, Burt Hazelwood (alumni parent), Doug Hunt (former Director), David King, Trish Molver (alumni parent), Michele Nelson, Mathis Kirby Powelson (alumni parent), Carla Quick (alumni parent), Thomas Raper, Laura Ruml, Jane Scheibe (2 nights), Melissa Shaw, Brian Thomas, Chamie Valentine, Henry Valentine, Jennifer Wampler, Andrew Warker, Bill Yates (4 nights), Joan Yates (2 nights), and Amy Ziegler.

The phonathon also relied on volunteer chefs, who were responsible for cooking dinner each night: Eva Boegner, Maura Davis, Sandy Furman (alumni parent), Mary Phillippo Parker, and Julie Weissend.
