Dragons Baseball Racks Up Runs

Seventeen is a special number this spring for Richmond. The Brood II 17-year cicadas will be emerging, and the MLWGS baseball team has scored 17 runs in each of their last 2 games. The Dragons beat John Marshall 17-3 and JR Tucker 17-8.

Team Co-Captain Jason Hunter (Henrico '13), hit three home runs in his first four games. Co-Captain Adam Davis (Chesterfield '13) went four for five with a double and three runs scored in the Tucker game. Frankie Celentano (Henrico '16) went two for four with a double and three RBIs, and Richard Schweiker (Richmond '14) went three for three with a double and 3 runs scored. Miles Greatwood (Chesterfield '13) performed a special saxophone rendition of the National Anthem at the first home game versus Tucker.

The Dragons baseball team invites Green Machine fans to attend home baseball games at Clark Springs Elementary (check school calendar for schedule).
