Would you like to learn how to search US Census records for ancestors without having to subscribe to Ancestry.com?
Then come to the MW Library for a genealogical research workshop! This hands-on workshop will use a famous Richmonder for sample searches and discover interesting details through Census sleuthing. Then participants will have an hour or more to research their own families. Ms DeGroat will stay to answer questions.
This workshop is open to faculty, staff, students, and parents. Chesterfield, Henrico or Pamunkey Regional public libary patrons should bring their public library cards.
The workshop will be offered twice. Thursday, May 23 and Friday May 31, 9:00am to 11:00am at the MLWGS Library.
Please RSVP to Ms. DeGroat at email@example.com by Tuesday, May 22 so that she knows how many participants to expect.
