Night of the Dragon Announces Auction Date

The 12th Annual Night of the Dragon auction will be held Saturday, Feb. 22 2014 at the Hilton Hotel & Spa at Short Pump. This annual event is the largest school fundraiser of the year and collectively benefits the students at MLWGS through activities provided by all of the booster groups, the PTSA, and the Governor’s School Foundation.

The Auction Committee is planning the party and auction - and needs lots of fun people to help! Committee needs vary and can fit those who can offer a few hours, a few days, or a few weeks of time. The Committee also has several opportunities for those who can only work from home. For those interested in being on this committee, please come to the first Night of the Dragon auction meeting on Monday, Sept. 23 at 6:45pm. The Auction Committee is also beginning to collect donations for the huge variety of items to auction. To donate, please see the donation form included in the Back to School packet, or visit the Auction website at to print out a form and return it to the auction box in Valenta Williams' office off the Bluestone Lobby. The deadline for donations to be included in this year's event is Dec. 13.
