SCHOOL CALENDAR REVIEW

On Thursday, January 11, the School Advisory Calendar Committee will be hosting a town hall meeting for public comment on our two draft calendars.  Under consideration are a standard draft for academic year 2018-2019 and a two week early start draft.  The session is scheduled for 4:30-5:30 pm in room 153.  See the school website to review the two drafts.  Any and all input will be heard.

MENA WINTER HOLIDAY BAZAAR

The MENA seminar has re-scheduled its Winter Holiday Bazaar at Maggie Walker on Friday, January 12 from 5-8 p.m. and we would love for the community to attend.  There will be vendors, food, games, and giveaways.  This is a fundraiser for the trip to Morocco.  Please spread the word to all who may be interested.

AUCTION DONATIONS NEEDED

It's 2018 and you know what that means- the 2018 Night of the Dragon is right around the corner!  Do you have something you can donate to help make this year's auction another great success? We are looking for vacation homes, event tickets, beautiful art, fun getaways, sports memorabilia, gift baskets, and any items that will bring in a high bid. If you are able to acquire/donate something, please fill out the attached form or email auctionmlwgs@gmail.com.

A special shout out to Rob Galgano for being this year’s first donor to leave his donation (a wonderful painting by a local artist) at school!
