SCRIP DUE THIS FRIDAY

Scrip orders are due THIS FRIDAY, May 17. Please consider supporting your PTSA through this simple fundraiser!

It's the last chance to purchase Scrip Gift cards this school year! Graduations, Father’s Day, end of the year teacher gifts, and summer travel are all reasons to think ahead and use Scrip gift cards to benefit MLWGS PTSA at no extra cost to you.  It’s simple- purchase gift cards for the retailers you shop through United Scrip, and a percentage goes back to our school.  For a full list of participating retailers go to https://www.scripzone.com/certificatelist.aspx. Please direct all questions to scrip@mlwgsptsa.org. Thank you to all those who supported the PTSA through Scrip this year! Even with limited participation, we raised close to $600.

Please submit your order form and payment by May 17 to room 100 in the Scrip box.  The order form lists our most popular retailers, but you can write in any of the participating retailers at the bottom of the form.

As part of the May Parent Annual Fund Campaign, the Foundation will host a
phone-a-thon on Monday, May 20. Alumni and parent volunteers will be calling
on behalf of the Foundation to garner support for the Foundation's 2018-2019
Annual Fund, which is essential in maintaining MLWGS's unique academic
environment.

We still have to raise over $100,000 from parents and alumni by June 30 to
maintain the same level of enhancements in the coming year.

We know how dedicated our MLWGS parents are and are so grateful for all that
you do to support this important work! Your commitment helps to make Maggie
Walker such a special place for our students and faculty.
If you have not already had a chance to make a contribution, you can opt out of
the spring Phone-a-thon by making your gift now. We promise to remove all
current donors from the call list during the Phone-a-thon.

To date, more than 34% of current parents have contributed to the 2018-2019
Annual Fund with class participation broken out as follows:

Senior parents (2019) 34%
Junior Parents (2020)  32%
Sophomore parents (2021) 34%
Freshman Parents (2022) 36%

As always, we thank our MLWGS families for all that you do!
