ATTENTION SENIOR PARENTS

The December issue of the Senior Newsletter is now available! This newsletter contains important college and scholarship-related reminders and deadlines.

If they have not done so already, seniors need to verify the name that will be printed on their diploma. The deadline was December 7, so if they have not done this, they need to go by the counseling office ASAP!

ARTROULETTE

Maggie Walker Art 4 students, Jacqueline Yu (Henrico 20'), Mia Rodrigues (Chesterfield 20'), and Eileen Morley (Chesterfield 20') recently contributed their artistic talents for a good cause. These students created a collaborative artwork with their teacher, Coach Hall, and another local Richmond artist for artroulette 2018! This collaborative fundraiser benefits local non-profit, artspace Gallery, and was an exciting opportunity for Central Virginia high school art teachers and their students to join in creating original works with professional artists.

artroulette is a collaborative event that randomly assigns teams of artists to create artworks sold by silent auction to benefit artspace gallery. This biennial fundraiser for this nonprofit gallery was kicked off on Friday, October 26 when the teams were selected by a roll of our artroulette wheel.

Their piece, “Helping Hands" is currently on display in the Plant Zero Project Space Galleries, Zero E. 4th St., Richmond, VA 23224 and on the artspacegallery.org website. You may bid on this work and others here. http://bit.ly/2QDFxn5. Bidding ends December 16.
